Issuing a mechanism to support schools to meet national standards

(Baonghean.vn) - To encourage facilities to increase investment to speed up the construction of schools that meet national standards, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee recently issued Decision No. 4954/QD.UBND.VX regulating the level of financial support for schools that meet national standards.National standards since the 2011-2012 school year.

Accordingly, schools striving to be recognized as National Standard Schools will be supported at the following levels: Kindergartens in cities and towns 90 million VND; kindergartens in plains and mountainous areas 120 million VND; kindergartens in mountainous areas 150 million VND; junior high schools in cities and towns 120 million VND; junior high schools in plains and mountainous areas 150 million VND; junior high schools in mountainous areas 180 million VND; high schools in cities and towns 180 million VND; high schools in plains and mountainous areas 210 million VND; high schools in mountainous areas 240 million VND. Primary schools striving to be recognized as National Standard Level 1 will be supported with 60 million VND, and those achieving Level 2 standards will be supported with 120 million VND.
