Issuing a mechanism to support schools to meet national standards

(Baonghean.vn) - To encourage facilities to increase investment to speed up the construction of schools that meet national standards, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee recently issued Decision No. 4954/QD.UBND.VX regulating the level of financial support for schools that meet national standards.National standards since the 2011-2012 school year.

Accordingly, schools striving to be recognized as meeting national standards will be supported at the following levels: Kindergartens in cities and towns will receive 90 million VND; kindergartens in the plains and mountainous areas will receive 120 million VND; kindergartens in the mountainous areas will receive 150 million VND; junior high schools in cities and towns will receive 120 million VND; junior high schools in the plains and mountainous areas will receive 150 million VND; junior high schools in the mountainous areas will receive 180 million VND; high schools in cities and towns will receive 180 million VND; high schools in the plains and mountainous areas will receive 210 million VND; high schools in the mountainous areas will receive 240 million VND. Primary schools striving to be recognized as meeting national standards at level 1 will receive 60 million VND, and those meeting level 2 will receive 120 million VND.
