Issuing a plan for compulsory land acquisition to implement the VSIP project.
(Baonghean.vn) - The People's Committee of Hung Nguyen district has just issued a plan to enforce the decision to reclaim land for the VSIP Nghe An Industrial, Urban and Service Zone Project.
ProjectVSIP Nghe An Industrial, Urban and Service ZoneWith a total planned area of 750 hectares, the project involves land acquisition in Hung Tay, Hung Dao communes, Hung Nguyen town in Hung Nguyen district, and Hung Chinh commune in Vinh city. This project falls under the category of state land acquisition for socio-economic development for national and public benefit, as stipulated in Clause 2, Article 62 of the 2013 Land Law.
This project, implemented in Hung Nguyen town, covers an area of approximately 180 hectares, affecting about 600 households whose land will be expropriated. Of these, 120 households are located in Block 10 of Hung Nguyen town. From 2019 to the present, the land compensation and resettlement work has been carried out by the Land Compensation and Resettlement Council. The People's Committee of Hung Nguyen district has also directed the district's Land Compensation and Resettlement Council to prepare compensation and support dossiers for affected households in accordance with the law.
However, as of now, in Block 10 of Hung Nguyen town, there are still 5 households and individuals who have not agreed to accept the compensation. Despite repeated efforts by local authorities at all levels to disseminate information, persuade, and explain the situation, these households still refuse to comply with the land expropriation decision and make unfounded demands (such as increasing the compensation price for agricultural land and requesting five times the amount of support for job retraining...).
In light of this situation, to ensure that land clearance proceeds according to schedule, that land is promptly handed over to the investor as planned, and to demonstrate the strict enforcement of the law, on November 14, 2023, the People's Committee of Hung Nguyen District issued Plan 575/KH-UBND to organize the enforcement of the land recovery decision against households and individuals who have not yet handed over the land in Block 10 of Hung Nguyen town.
It is understood that the enforcement action is expected to take place in the last days of November.
