On the afternoon of August 6, under the chairmanship of comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council had a working session with the leaders of Hoang Mai town on the plan to elect additional delegates to the Hoang Mai town People's Council, term 2011 - 2016. Attending were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee; People's Committee, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

Based on the provisions of the Law on Election of People's Council Deputies at All Levels, Hoang Mai town will elect 33 People's Council Deputies of the town. Currently, based on the number of People's Council Deputies of Quynh Luu district, the term 2011 - 2016 elected in the constituencies now under the administrative boundaries of Hoang Mai town is 11, of course, they will be converted into People's Council Deputies of the town, so only 22 additional candidates need to be elected. The expected time to organize the election of additional People's Council Deputies of Hoang Mai town is set for October 6, 2013.

At the meeting, comrade Nguyen Xuan Son requested: Hoang Mai town needs to coordinate with the Department of Home Affairs to calculate based on population to clearly determine the number of town People's Council delegates. Request the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to pay attention to the organization, staff of the town Fatherland Front Committee and carry out the steps to negotiate the election of additional town People's Council delegates. Request the election time to ensure compliance with Government regulations 6 months before the decision to establish a new administrative unit. On the side of the Provincial People's Council Standing Committee, it will be responsible for advising and guiding Hoang Mai town in organizing the election of additional town People's Council delegates.
