Attending the event were comrade Vo Viet Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, Head of the Provincial People's Council's Economic and Budget Committee, representatives of the Fatherland Front Committee; Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Provincial People's Committee Office, Office of the National Assembly Delegation - Provincial People's Council and leaders of relevant departments, branches and organizations.

The vote of confidence and the vote of no confidence aim to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the People's Council's supervision; help those who are voted for to recognize their level of trust in order to take measures to strive, practice, and improve their responsibility and operational efficiency. At the same time, this is also the basis for competent agencies and organizations to consider, evaluate, arrange, and use cadres.
At the conference, delegates discussed and contributed specific ideas on the organization of propaganda, implementation, assignment of responsibilities, and implementation timelines so that the plan to collect votes of confidence and vote of no confidence for people holding positions elected by People's Councils at all levels in Nghe An province for the 2011-2016 term can be implemented scientifically, with feasibility, ensuring the purpose and requirements in the spirit of the two resolutions 35 and 561 of the National Assembly. According to the plan, the collection of votes of confidence and vote of no confidence will be implemented at the first regular session of People's Councils at all levels.
Concluding the conference, Comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh requested that departments, branches and mass organizations closely coordinate with the Standing Committee of the People's Council at the same level to organize training and thoroughly grasp the policy of taking a vote of confidence and a vote of no confidence in accordance with the spirit of the National Assembly's resolution. She also requested to strengthen propaganda work on mass media in various forms so that cadres, party members and people of all walks of life clearly understand the importance of taking a vote of confidence and a vote of no confidence for people holding positions elected by the People's Councils at all levels in the province. The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council will also issue a resolution assigning specific responsibilities to departments, branches and mass organizations at all levels in implementing the policy of taking a vote of confidence and a vote of no confidence in a public, fair, democratic, objective and realistic assessment.
