Discuss the plan for recruiting and training grassroots judicial staff
(Baonghean.vn) - This morning, August 1, Nghe An Department of Justice worked with the delegation of Dong Hoi Law College on recruitment for the grassroots justice sector. Attending the meeting were representatives of provincial departments, branches, and sectors, leaders and judicial officers of districts, cities, and towns.
Implementing the Politburo's judicial reform strategy until 2020, especially training, fostering, improving capacity and efficiency in performing public duties for the team of cadres and civil servants in the judicial sector, especially at the grassroots level in the North Central region, Dong Hoi Law College (under the Ministry of Justice) is enrolling its first course. The target students are those who have graduated from junior high school and high school. The school's first course will enroll 250 - 300 students by selection, training for 2 years (for high school graduates) and 3 years (for junior high school graduates). Untrained commune judicial officers and mountainous commune cadres will be supported with 9.8 million VND/course.
According to statistics, up to now, 25% of commune judicial officers have not attended formal law training courses, the majority of commune officers do not have law degrees, so the effectiveness of public service implementation at the grassroots level is not high, many shortcomings arise in the work of cadres, significantly affecting the socio-economic situation of localities.
