Semi-final of the Northern Region Voice of the Press Festival
On the evening of August 20, at the Friendship Cultural Palace (Hanoi), the Vietnam Journalists Association organized the 3rd National Festival - Voice of Vietnamese Journalists 2012, semi-final round of the Northern region.
From 20 units with 42 contestants, performing 34 acts, the Jury selected the 16 best acts for the semi-finals; including 10 solo acts, 3 duets and 3 trio acts. Tonight, the Jury selected the 4 best acts for the final round of ranking and awarding prizes.
The total prize value of this 3rd festival is 500 million VND, including: 1 first prize worth 40 million VND; 2 second prizes worth 30 million VND each; 3 third prizes worth 20 million VND each. In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 9 consolation prizes to non-professional singers.
The final ranking and awarding round was held at Tuan Chau International Tourist Area, Ha Long City (Quang Ninh) and was broadcast live on VTV1 - Vietnam Television, at 8:00 p.m. on September 8./.
