Poor village contributes to build nearly 1 km of solid road
(Baonghean.vn) - Today in Vinh Kim village, Hoa Son commune (Anh Son), people are in a bustling atmosphere building rural roads. Not only donating land and supporting working days, people also contribute money to build nearly 1 km of solid road.
For a long time, the people of Vinh Kim village have dreamed of having a wide road that is convenient for travel and production. Now that the government has supported them with cement, the people are willing to donate their land so that the road can be completed quickly.
Ms. Lo Thi Hieu in Vinh Kim village said that the roads in the village are muddy in the rainy season and dusty in the dry season, with potholes making travel difficult. After the policy of building concrete roads according to new rural standards was approved, along with contributing labor and materials, her family also contributed 1.2 million VND.

Taking us to visit the road that the villagers are concentrating on pouring concrete to complete before Tet, Mr. Luong Van Thai - head of Vinh Kim village said: The village has 146 households with 619 people, of which over 90% are Thai ethnic people, whose lives still face many difficulties. After receiving support from the State to invest in building rural roads, the village held a meeting and agreed to implement it.
Besides propaganda work, the publication is public and transparent, all people are informed, discussed, done and checked. During the process, people participate in supervising the quality of the project.

In 2017, along with 101 tons of cement supported by the State,thenEach household in the village contributed 1.2 million VND and thousands of working days, building nearly 1 km of concrete road with a width of 3 m and a thickness of 14-16 cm.
In addition, the Vinh Kim Village Executive Committee also actively mobilizes people to develop the economy, increase income, and build a cultural life in the residential area. From a poor village, the average income per capita now reaches more than 20 million VND/year; 100% of households have access to clean water, school-age children can go to school, 90% of households have televisions and motorbikes; security and order are maintained; the poverty rate decreases by 2-3% every year.
