Shooting someone because of a debt of 50 million VND
On the afternoon of July 27, authorities clarified the shooting that occurred at a coffee shop at 4:00 p.m. on July 26.
According to initial records of Dong Hoi City Police (Quang Binh), at the above time, Vu Thanh Long (21 years old), rented a KIA-MORNING car with license plate 73A-088.85 to go to LOU coffee shop where Mr. Tran Long Thanh is the owner and demanded a debt of 50 million VND from Mr. Thanh.

The two sides argued and a conflict arose. Long went to the car, took out a stun gun, put it in his pocket, then approached Thanh (about 3 meters away) and shot Thanh, injuring him on the outside of his left bicep.
After shooting, Long got into his car and fled. Upon receiving the report, Dong Hoi City Police deployed forces to the scene and that same night identified the suspect, temporarily seized the car, the stun gun, two conductive metal tips, and conducted an appraisal of the gun and the conductive metal tips.
Tran Long Thanh was taken to the hospital and the doctor removed the metal tip from his arm and Thanh returned home shortly after. The case is still being handled by the police according to the law.
