The Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council reviews reports, submissions, and draft resolutions submitted to the Provincial People's Council.

(Baonghean.vn) -Preparing for the 9th session of the 16th Provincial People's Council, on the afternoon of June 28, under the chairmanship of Comrade Nguyen Huu Lam - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, Head of the Legal Committee, the Provincial People's Council's Legal Committee organized the examination of a number of reports, submissions, and draft resolutions expected to be submitted at the upcoming 9th session. Comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also attended the meeting.

Regarding the proposal to amend and supplement Resolution No. 316/2010/NQ-HDND and Decision No. 65/2010/QD-UBND on a number of policies to attract high-quality human resources and encourage recruitment of civil servants and public employees in Nghe An province, delegates focused on clarifying what has been and has not been achieved after nearly 3 years of implementing the attraction policy, and at the same time, amending and supplementing a number of contents. The proposal also added priority subjects in the recruitment and selection of civil servants with university entrance scores from 18 to 24 points or higher depending on each exam group. Regarding the content of the admission, it includes university entrance scores, university and postgraduate study scores, graduation exam scores, thesis defense scores, etc.

Also this afternoon, the Legal Department reviewed a number of reports on ensuring traffic safety and order; the fight against crime and social evils; and administrative reform in the first 6 months of 2013. The meeting also discussed the draft resolution recognizing Song Dinh urban area as a type 5 urban area; the draft resolution abolishing Resolutions 277 and 255 on training and fostering officials and civil servants abroad.

During the review, comrade Nguyen Huu Lam agreed on a number of contents and requested the agencies drafting the reports and draft resolutions to absorb the opinions of the delegates to adjust and supplement the reports to ensure consistency and high quality. At the same time, he agreed on the draft resolution to recognize Song Dinh urban area as a type 5 urban area and abolish the resolutions on training and fostering cadres and civil servants abroad.
