Provincial People's Council Legal Committee deploys tasks in 2015

(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of January 7, the Provincial People's Council's Legal Committee held a meeting to review and summarize activities in 2014 and set out tasks for 2015.

Overview of the meeting

At the meeting, members of the Provincial People's Council's Legal Committee and representatives of a number of internal affairs departments and agencies spoke highly of the activities of the Provincial People's Council's Legal Committee in 2014. Notably, the monitoring and surveying activities were conducted in 4 thematic sessions on a large scale and in depth, with practical impacts on the sectors, agencies, fields and contents that the Committee conducted monitoring and surveying.

Thanks to the innovation in monitoring and surveying activities, from grasping the practical situation at the grassroots level first, then working with the managing agency, unit or direct management level, the recommendations and proposals of the Legal Committee are accurate and correct, and are accepted and overcome by the Provincial People's Committee and the sectors and levels. The work of urging the implementation of recommendations and proposals after monitoring and surveying for agencies and sectors is of interest, contributing to improving the effectiveness of monitoring and surveying.

During the year, the Legal Committee also coordinated with the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council to prepare well for 3 sessions of the Provincial People's Council, innovate and improve the quality of reviewing assigned documents. From the results of the Committee's review, the Departments and branches that advised on drafting have absorbed, edited and supplemented to improve the quality of reports, draft submissions and Resolutions submitted at the Provincial People's Council sessions.

Concluding the meeting, comrade Nguyen Huu Lam clarified a number of key tasks of the Provincial People's Council's Legal Committee in 2015, including clearly defining the coordination and reasonable allocation of tasks for each month to implement smoothly and effectively. Strengthening coordination with the Standing Committee, Provincial People's Council Committees, and relevant agencies to create high efficiency in work, avoiding overlap in the work process.

Monitor and urge the implementation of the Resolutions of the Provincial People's Council in the areas under the responsibility of the Legal Department and the implementation of the recommendations and proposals of the Legal Department through monitoring and survey activities since the beginning of the term.
