Pieng Van village is bustling with excitement on the Great Unity Day
(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of November 14, at Pieng Van village, Dong Van commune, Que Phong district, the National Great Unity Day was held.
Attending and sharing the festival with the people were Colonel Cao Huy Luong - Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command; leaders of the District Party Committee, District People's Committee and many people from Pieng Van village.
Pieng Van village has 39 households and 145 people. Implementing the movement of the whole people uniting to build a cultural life in residential areas, the cadres and people of Dong Van commune have unanimously and always complied with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, joining hands to build the village to be increasingly innovative and civilized. In recent years, the economic and cultural life of the villagers has improved significantly. In the past year, the poverty rate of the commune has decreased from 51.28% to 35.89%. The cultural, artistic and sports movements of the village have been promoted and preserved traditional cultural features; security and order have always been ensured.

On this occasion, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee presented 5 gifts, each worth 300,000 VND, to 5 families in difficult circumstances. Dong Van Commune People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 3 groups and 4 individuals with achievements in the movement of All people uniting to build a cultural residential area.
