Asiad Organizing Committee unexpectedly changes the competition schedule of Vietnam Olympic
According to the old schedule, Vietnam Olympic team will have their opening match on August 15, with the next two matches on August 17 and 21. However, today, the host country's organizing committee unexpectedly changed the schedule of the teams in Group D, including Vietnam.
Specifically, according to the new schedule, Coach Park Hang Seo and his team will meet Pakistan on August 14, Nepal on August 16 and Japan on August 19. Of which, the two Olympic matches between Vietnam and Pakistan and Japan will be played at 4 p.m., while the match against Nepal will be played at 7 p.m.

Also according to the arrangement of the host country's Organizing Committee, all 3 group stage matches of the Vietnam Olympic Games will take place at Wibawa Mukti Stadium (Cikarang town, Bekasi district, West Java, Indonesia). Meanwhile, in the final match, Pakistan and Nepal will have to play at Patriot Stadium (also in Bekasi).
This will be a definite advantage as coach Park Hang Seo and his team do not have to travel. However, the Vietnam Olympic team also faces other concerns.
Accordingly, initially only group D (Vietnam, Japan, Nepal and Pakistan) competed in the group stage in Bekasi, but according to the latest change from the Asiad organizing committee, group F teams will also be stationed and compete here.
That also means that up to 8 teams from groups D and F will compete in the group stage at Wibawa Mukti Stadium, which could affect the quality of the grass as well as create difficulties in the training schedule on the secondary fields in Bekasi.
