Provincial Party Committee Organizing Committee gives Tet gifts to the poor in Quy Chau district
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of February 7, the delegation of the Organizing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee led by Mr. Le Quoc Khanh - Standing Deputy Head of the delegation visited and presented gifts to poor families in Chau Nga commune (Quy Chau).

The Provincial Party Committee and Nghe An 1 Senior Political Class (2016-2018) presented 25 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND. Asia Travel Company presented 10 warm blankets to boarding students at Chau Nga Primary School.
Also on this occasion, the Fatherland Front Committee of Quy Chau district donated 45 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, from the Poor Support Fund to poor families and policy families.

Chau Nga is known to be one of the poor communes of Quy Chau district. The natural area of 10,106.56 hectares is mainly forest land, with only 59 hectares of rice fields. The commune has 533 households, with 2,188 people, of which the poor household rate accounts for more than 50%.
