Nghe An Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department offers incense to commemorate heroic martyrs
(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2022), on July 10, a delegation of officials from the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department led by comrade Tran Quoc Khanh - Deputy Head of the Department came to offer flowers and incense at the Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery, the National Road 9 Martyrs' Cemetery and the Quang Tri Provincial Citadel.
At the Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery, in a solemn and emotional atmosphere, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department respectfully commemorated the great contributions of the great President Ho Chi Minh and expressed gratitude to the heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed for the cause of national liberation.

Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery is the resting place of more than 10,000 martyrs nationwide, mainly martyrs of Group 559 - Truong Son Army, who sacrificed their lives during the resistance war against America to save the country.
At the National Martyrs' Cemetery of Road 9, comrade Tran Quoc Khanh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the delegation of officials of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department offered flowers and incense, expressing their infinite gratitude and deep appreciation for the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who devoted their entire youth, bravely fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the country.

The National Road 9 Martyrs' Cemetery is the eternal resting place of nearly 11,000 heroic martyrs who fought and served on the Road 9 front and in Laos during the resistance war against the US to save the country and gain national independence as well as sacrificed in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
Before that, the delegation also came to offer flowers, incense and visit Quang Tri Citadel. With the heroic and resilient fight to protect the Citadel and Quang Tri town during 81 fierce days and nights in the summer of 1972 (from June 28 to September 16, 1972), Quang Tri Citadel has recorded in the history of the nation a shining milestone of revolutionary heroism. Thousands of soldiers have forever remained in the Citadel, so that the country can be independent, unified, and the people can be prosperous and happy like today.
