(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 29, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department andProvincial Social InsuranceOrganize a conference to deploy the 2017 cooperation program.

In 2016, the Social Insurance and the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department actively coordinated to propagate and effectively implement the Party's policies and resolutions and the State's laws and policies on social insurance and health insurance.

In particular, last year was the year when the amended Social Insurance Law of 2014 had many new points and many health insurance policies stipulated in the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Health Insurance Law came into effect. The two sides actively coordinated in advising the Provincial Party Standing Committee to issue official dispatches directing the Party Executive Committee, Youth Union; departments, branches, sectors, and organizations at the provincial, district, and urban levels to effectively implement the Social Insurance and Health Insurance Law.

At the conference, leaders of the departments and professional offices of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Provincial Social Insurance Department frankly assessed the achievements and shortcomings in the coordination work in 2016. From there, the two units agreed on the coordination program in 2017 with 6 main contents.

Specifically, the two units will coordinate to advise, summarize, and implement directives and resolutions of the Party, policies and laws of the State and the province on social insurance and health insurance; Provide information on social insurance and health insurance policies at training conferences, meetings of reporters and press briefings; Compile and write news and articles to propagate social insurance and health insurance policies on internal notices issued by the Propaganda Department of the province, city, and town Party Committee; Research and compile documents to propagate social insurance and health insurance policies to be distributed to grassroots reporters, etc.

The leaders of the two units emphasized: The signing of the cooperation program aims to mobilize the combined strength of the entire political system and the responsibility of the Propaganda system from the province to the localities to participate in the propaganda work on social insurance and health insurance policies. Thereby, raising awareness for cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and people about the role and significance of social insurance and health insurance in the social security system.
