Complete the assigned tasks well

In 2024, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department successfully completed 83/83 assigned tasks and 7/7 tasks in the field of Propaganda according to the Working Program of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; Well performed the tasks authorized by the Standing Committee. The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department advised the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to issue a plan to direct the institutionalization of resolutions; develop and issue plans and instructions for implementing important tasks in the field of Propaganda; coordinate with departments, agencies and branches in the science and education sector to advise on many important documents, contributing to creating unity in political ideology, consensus in society, creating a favorable environment for socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security in the province.

The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department has directed the entire sector to closely follow the political tasks, practical situation of the province, and instructions of the Central Propaganda Department to effectively and promptly deploy tasks and solutions, thus achieving many important results.

The work of leadership, direction, organization of research, study, understanding, propaganda, and dissemination of the Party's policies, resolutions, and directives has been seriously implemented, with many innovations at all levels. Information and propaganda work has been deployed promptly through many channels and forms, actively promoting social platforms, especially oral propaganda and reporters have been effectively deployed by the Propaganda Department at all levels. Thereby, contributing to creating a real change in the awareness and actions of Party committees, Party organizations, and Party members.

The work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation and combating and refuting false and hostile information and viewpoints has been innovated in both content and form, creating strong changes and positive effects. The work of directing, orienting information, propaganda, investigating, and grasping public opinion has become more and more timely and proactive. The work of journalism, culture, and arts has been focused on, promptly orienting information for the press.

Political theory education and knowledge updating for cadres and party members have had many positive changes. The study, research and dissemination of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh's thought have been promoted. The opening of political theory training classes and knowledge updating for cadres, party members and members of socio-political organizations has had many innovations in content and form, in accordance with practical requirements. In 2024, the whole province opened 5,612 classes with more than 72,000 students. The application of information technology in teaching and digitalization of record keeping have been focused.

Promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle has created a strong spread in society. In particular, solving practical problems is focused on and considered a breakthrough in studying and following Uncle Ho.

In 2024, there were many models and typical examples of studying and following Uncle Ho, a number of individuals and collectives of Nghe An province were commended and rewarded by the Central Government.

There have been many innovations in the work of Science and Education, the survey and understanding of the fields of Science and Education associated with the inspection and supervision program of the Party Committee and the implementation of professional tasks have been given attention. Timely direction to resolve problems and issues arising related to the epidemic situation, climate change, environmental pollution, contributing to creating high unity in the awareness and actions of cadres, Party members, and people of all walks of life. Effectively implementing the coordination regulations between the Propaganda Department at all levels and state management agencies at the same level in law enforcement, implementing socio-economic development plans, and resolving outstanding issues of concern to the people.

At the conference, delegates listened to the leaders of the Department of Science and Technology thoroughly implement the contents of Resolution No. 17-NQ/TU of the Provincial Party Committee on science, technology and innovation development to 2030 and Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation.

Attending the conference, delegates contributed opinions, discussed and clarified the results of oral propaganda work, reporter activities and public opinion work; and the difficulties and challenges arising from practice.

Create unity and solidarity in action

Speaking at the conference, comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council highly appreciated the efforts, creativity and positive results of the entire Propaganda sector in 2024, making important contributions to the achievements of socio-economy, security, national defense and Party building work.

Emphasizing that 2025 is a year of special importance, a year of many major national holidays, comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the Propaganda sector to continue promoting the achieved results, closely following the leadership and direction of the Central Propaganda Department, of Party committees at all levels, doing well the political and ideological work, propaganda work, orienting public opinion to create high unity in the whole Party, the whole political system, consensus among the people to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws.

The Propaganda Department urgently and democratically and scientifically implements the merger of the Propaganda Department with the Provincial and District Mass Mobilization Departments, builds appropriate functions and tasks, and develops a work program immediately after the merger to promptly and effectively deploy programs, plans, and tasks from the beginning of 2025.

Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu also requested the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department to strengthen propaganda and orient public opinion to effectively implement the targets and tasks of the Party Congresses at all levels. Focus on advising on the development and promulgation of major policies in Propaganda work, especially the implementation of Resolution No. 39-NQ/TW on Nghe An development.

In addition, continue to promote the work of streamlining the apparatus according to Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW, creating consensus in the political and social system. At the same time, promptly grasp the ideological situation and public opinion, coordinate to solve problems arising in the implementation of economic and social projects.

Effectively deploy the topics of studying and following Uncle Ho in association with social justice and caring for people's lives. Continue to build and promote the system of cultural values, family, and Vietnamese people in the new era.
