The Provincial People's Council's Culture and Social Committee deploys tasks for 2015

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of January 8, the Provincial People's Council's Culture and Social Affairs Committee held a meeting to evaluate the results of activities in 2014 and deploy tasks for 2015.

Comrade Tran Cong Duong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chief of the Provincial Party Office, Head of the Culture - Social Committee of the Provincial People's Council chaired the meeting.

At the meeting, members of the Culture - Society Committee and leaders of some Committees of the Provincial People's Council spoke highly of the Committee's activities in 2014, maintaining good implementation of activities according to regulations; well preparing for the Provincial People's Council meetings in 2014, contributing to improving the quality of the meetings. The work of examining reports and draft resolutions before submitting and approving them at the meetings was of good quality. The work of supervision and survey was determined to have the right practical content, creating efficiency in implementing the functions, tasks and resolutions of the Provincial People's Council, contributing to promoting socio-economic development in the province. The coordination with Committees and the Office of the Provincial People's Council, all levels and sectors was more effective.

Deputy Head of the Culture - Social Committee of the Provincial People's Council Ton Thi Cam Ha reported on the draft tasks for 2015.

Based on the frank recognition of limitations, that is, although monitoring and survey activities have been improved, they are not yet deep. Because the members of the Culture - Society Committee are mainly part-time, the time spent participating in the Committee's activities is not complete and equal. The monitoring and urging of the implementation of recommendations after monitoring and surveying have not met the requirements....

Comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi, member of the Culture and Social Affairs Committee, gave additional remarks on the 2015 monitoring program.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Tran Cong Duong emphasized: The key tasks in 2015 are to improve the quality of monitoring and survey activities; examine reports and draft resolutions; strengthen coordination with departments, branches, organizations, agencies, units and voters to grasp information to improve the quality of the Committee's activities according to its authority.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Kim Chi, member of the Culture and Social Affairs Committee, spoke about additional solutions to improve the quality of the Committee's activities in 2015.

Comrade Tran Cong Duong also noted that in 2015, the Party Congresses at all levels will greatly influence the activities of the entire political system, so the development of the 2015 operational plan of the Committee needs to be highly focused from now until April 2015. The plan must be announced early so that the Committee members can proactively arrange their time to participate, overcoming the incomplete and uneven participation as in 2014. Continue to innovate to improve the quality of the Committee's activities in 2015.
