FIFA Rankings: Vietnam Team Drops in Rank, Laos Advances

According to the latest announcement from FIFA, the Vietnamese football team has dropped one place, while Laos has strongly advanced in the FIFA rankings for May 2016.

Specifically, the Vietnamese team dropped 1 place to 145th with 228 points, equal to the number of points that coach Nguyen Huu Thang and his team had in last month's rankings.

Meanwhile, the Philippines team increased 1 place to 115th place, 30 places ahead of Vietnam, while Thailand remained at 119th place in the world.

In contrast to Vietnam, the Laos team jumped 6 places to climb to 176th place in the world with 105 points.

In the May rankings, Kuwait was the most disappointing team and was deducted 40 points, falling 14 places to 140th in the world.

The world's top 10 has not changed at all. Argentina is still number 1 in the world with 1,532 points, followed by Belgium, Chile, Colombia, and Germany.
