(Baonghean.vn) - Continuing the working session this morning, the 14th session of the Provincial People's Council, term XVI, 2011 - 2016, conducted supervision at the session on the implementation of the settlement of a number of opinions and recommendations of voters by the Provincial People's Committee.

The report on the results of handling the implementation of some recommendations of voters of the Provincial People's Committee presented by Comrade Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee clarified many specific contents proposed by voters and delegates of the Provincial People's Council at the 13th session. Regarding the recommendation that the province needs to have mechanisms and policies to directly and more effectively support farmers, in recent times, the Provincial People's Committee has had many policies to support investment in seeds to provide better quality seeds to serve people in production; increase the area of ​​high-quality rice cultivation in the province; increase the provision of information on prices and markets, contributing to stabilizing the market and orienting production for people.

In the coming time, the Provincial People's Committee will continue to direct and support to strengthen the work of reporting on market prices and commodity needs for people. In addition, it will focus on directing localities to post information on material prices on mass media for farmers to grasp and choose seed suppliers, meeting the requirements of quantity, quality and price harmony for farmers in accordance with the law.

The report also clarified the recommendations of voters in the province on issues related to measures to support the linkage of agricultural product consumption for farmers; the work of inspecting and handling acts of producing and trading poor quality fertilizers, veterinary drugs, pesticides, and animal feed; recommendations to speed up the planning and licensing of sand and gravel exploitation for people to implement; the work of handing over land management and use of agricultural and forestry companies and economic organizations; measures to handle the situation of building permanent houses on forestry land, land rented for farms and ranches; the situation of environmental pollution in some areas and some points in the province; the issue of renovating and upgrading the power grid and the quality of rural electricity; the settlement of policies for people with meritorious services to the revolution...

At the end of the working session this morning, the Provincial People's Council divided into 8 groups and directed the discussion on the socio-economic situation in the first 6 months of the year, tasks and solutions for the last 6 months of 2015; reports and draft resolutions as well as solving practical issues arising in the afternoon working session.
