Journalism in the process of globalization
The Academy of Journalism and Communication, in collaboration with the University of Vienna (Austria), the Vietnam Journalists Association, Nhan Dan Newspaper and Quang Ninh Provincial Radio and Television Station, organized the international scientific conference "Journalism in the globalization process: Opportunities, challenges and prospects", held on the morning of October 29 in Hanoi.
The workshop focused on issues that need to be addressed such as: Development trends of journalism in the globalization process, similarities and differences in journalism activities in countries around the world, issues on training in journalism and media, journalism and foreign information; changes in journalism - current and future challenges, issues on professional ethics, responsibilities and civic duties of journalists, changes in research models of journalism, society and media...

Associate Professor, Dr. Truong Ngoc Nam, Director, Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Academy of Journalism and Communication, affirmed: “The workshop becomes a forum for scientists to share experiences. With a sense of responsibility for the development of the press and media of each country and nation; with the spirit of science, cooperation and development, the delegates will have valuable opinions, contributions and success of the workshop”.
