Russian newspaper reveals an assassination attempt on President Putin

The Russian Business newspaper on July 24 reported that the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has completed the investigation into the high-profile criminal case against Chechen citizen Adam Osmayev, who is suspected of organizing the assassination of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

In addition, Kazakh citizen Ilya Pyanzin is also accused of participating in organizing this assassination. These two suspects were arrested in the city of Odessa (Ukraine) in February.

At the end of February, the SBU confirmed information that Russian and Ukrainian security agencies had foiled a terrorist plot to assassinate Mr. Putin.

The defendants in this case have admitted their crimes and provided most of the evidence to investigators./.
