Ha Tinh Newspaper celebrates 50 years since its first issue and receives the First Class Labor Medal.

(Baonghean.vn)On the morning of August 25, at the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee hall, Ha Tinh Newspaper held a ceremony to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first issue and received the First Class Labor Medal.

Attending the ceremony were representatives of leaders and reporters from other newspapers: Nghe An, Ha Noi Moi, Dong Nai, Quang Binh, Ba Ria Vung Tau.... On the provincial side, there were comrades Nguyen Thanh Binh, member of the Party Central Committee - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Dinh Xuan Viet - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Vo Kim Cu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, and comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Representatives of leaders of provincial departments, branches, unions, districts, towns, cities and reporters from different periods.

The speech at the ceremony reviewed the proud tradition of the 50-year journey of formation and development of Ha Tinh Newspaper. During that process, there were 15 years of merging the two provinces of Nghe An and Ha Tinh (1976-1991), the Party newspaper agency was called Nghe Tinh Newspaper, headquartered in Phong Toan hamlet, Ha Huy Tap ward (Vinh city). During those 15 years, leaders, cadres, and reporters of the two provinces worked side by side to build Nghe Tinh Newspaper, achieving many admirable achievements.

After the separation of Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces, returning to their homeland, Ha Tinh Newspaper has gradually built a team of reporters and editors with strong political will, professional expertise, clear ethics, and dedication to the profession. Up to now, the editorial office has 47 reporters and employees, of which 90% have university degrees, 60% of reporters and editors have 2 or more university degrees. The team of young reporters are well-trained, enthusiastic and passionate about their jobs, always completing their tasks well... From only publishing one issue per week, Ha Tinh Newspaper now publishes 5 issues per week with many special pages and columns; since 2009, Ha Tinh Online Newspaper was born to meet the needs of readers at home and abroad to enjoy fast and timely information, promoting the image of Ha Tinh land and people.

Half a century of striving to build and develop, Ha Tinh Newspaper has been awarded many noble prizes by the Party and the State such as: First, Second, Third Labor Medals, Certificates of Merit, excellent emulation flags from the Prime Minister, and central departments... Many reporters have also been honored to receive many prizes and noble prizes from the Party and the State.

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Dinh Xuan Viet congratulated the achievements of Ha Tinh Newspaper. He emphasized that in recent times, generations of cadres and reporters of Ha Tinh Newspaper have promoted the spirit of dynamism, creativity, and closeness to reality, reflecting all developments in the province's economic and social life. Ha Tinh Newspaper has also focused on discovering and nurturing new factors in all fields to inherit the good traditions and build the newspaper to develop more and more. He noted that in order to contribute to the newspaper's increasingly innovative content and form, promoting the pioneering role of the press in the cause of innovation and integration, in the coming time, Ha Tinh Newspaper needs to continue to thoroughly grasp the Party's Resolution, closely follow the reality of life, vividly reflect the patriotic emulation movements of the province, promote the fighting spirit, criticize negative issues, and at the same time propagate and expand typical factors; Promoting the role of the main force on the cultural front, associated with patriotic emulation movements; Strongly innovating in terms of facilities and technical means to keep up with the times; Strengthening the great solidarity and unity within the agency... worthy of being the voice of the Party Committee and people of the province.
