Dai-ichi Insurance Vietnam gives gifts to students in flood-hit areas of Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn)- On November 18, the "For a beautiful life" Fund of Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company Vietnam presented 100 gifts to students in Dien Ngoc and Dien Trung communes, Dien Chau district (Nghe An).

Each gift includes 500,000 VND in cash and a school backpack. The total of 100 gifts is worth more than 58 million VND. This is the third support for people affected by storms and floods implemented by the “For a Better Life” Fund of Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company Vietnam, with enthusiastic contributions from the Board of Directors, all employees and financial consultants of the Company.

The first phase was implemented by the Fund in August 2017 in Muong La district, Son La province and the second phase was implemented in Mu Cang Chai district, Yen Bai province in September 2017 with a total funding amount of up to 600 million VND.

Mr. Tran Dinh Quan, General Director of Dai-ichi Life Vietnam, and Chairman of the “For a Better Life” Fund, said: “In recent days, due to the severe impact of natural disasters, people in the Central provinces, from Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, especially in Dien Chau district, Nghe An province, are facing many difficulties. Crops have been lost, hospitals and public works have been damaged, many key traffic routes have been cut off, many schools have been devastated, making it impossible for many students to go to class even though the opening ceremony took place not long ago. With the spirit of sharing and the tradition of humanity for the community, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam continues to come to the students of Dien Ngoc Primary School and Dien Trung Primary School, Dien Chau district, Nghe An province. We hope that these small gifts will help the students and their families overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.”
