Dai-ichi Life Vietnam gives warm clothes and backpacks to students in difficult circumstances
Continuing the journey of spreading love to children in the Northern mountainous region, on March 12, Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company of Vietnam (Dai-ichi Life Vietnam) launched the program "Connecting millions of loves - Love for children", giving 318 backpacks and warm clothes worth 70 million VND to 318 students in difficult circumstances at Quang Phong Primary School, Thai Hoa Town.
Nghe An is the second stop in the journey to spread "Love for Children" sponsored by Dai-ichi Life Vietnam's For a Better Life Fund to implement activities to support education and health care for children in 2025. On this occasion, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam presented 1,900 warm coats and education encouragement gifts, with a total value of more than 420 million VND to disadvantaged children in mountainous areas in 2025 in 6 provinces: Lai Chau, Nghe An, Son La, Tuyen Quang, Bac Giang and Quang Binh. Over the past 18 years, this meaningful program has presented more than 7,300 warm coats and education encouragement gifts with a total value of nearly 4 billion VND.

Previously, on March 5, the program presented 300 backpacks and warm coats worth 66 million VND to 300 disadvantaged students at Muong Khoa Primary School, Tan Uyen, Lai Chau.

Hopefully, these small gifts and warm love from Dai-ichi Life Vietnam will bring joy and encourage the children to happily go to school every day”.

Dai-ichi Life Vietnam closed the challenging journey of 2024 and made its mark on the market with positive business results: Total insurance premium revenue is estimated at nearly VND 19,200 billion, market share reached 13.1%; estimated annual new insurance premium revenue is VND 3,550 billion, leading among foreign-invested life insurance companies in Vietnam; after-tax profit is estimated at more than VND 2,100 billion, contributing nearly VND 1,000 billion to the State budget; Total assets over 75,000 billion VND, an increase of 13% compared to 2023.
Always committed to ensuring superior benefits for customers, in 2024, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam paid insurance benefits to more than 370,000 cases; total amount of 4,800 billion VND, bringing the total payment amount to more than 24,300 billion VND for more than 2 million cases in 17 years.
