On the afternoon of April 12, the Nghe An Social Insurance and Nghe An Department of Health held a conference to sign the Program of coordination in implementing policies and laws.health insurancein Nghe An province in the period 2023 - 2025.
At the conference, the parties jointly assessed the implementation of health insurance policies and laws in Nghe An province for the period 2020 - 2023.

Accordingly: In the past 3 years, implementing the Coordination Regulation No. 2606/LN-YT-BHXH signed on November 30, 2020, the Health and Social Insurance sectors of Nghe An province have organized the implementation of health insurance policies in the area in accordance with regulations, ensuring the rights of health insurance participants, improving the quality of patient services, managing and using health insurance funds reasonably, safely and effectively; enhancing responsibility and coordination between the two sectors in directing, guiding and organizing the implementation of policies and laws on health insurance.
However, besides the achieved results, there are still some shortcomings, limitations and issues for the two sectors that need to be considered and resolved to have a more substantial and stronger change in the coming time, such as the management of health insurance medical examination and treatment funds, resolving backlogs in payment of medical examination and treatment costs, etc.
