On September 27, Typhoon Megi made landfall in eastern Taiwan (China), injuring more than 30 people and seriously affecting traffic and the lives of local people.
With winds of up to 160km/h, Typhoon Megi, the third typhoon to sweep Taiwan this month, made landfall from the Pacific Ocean, causing heavy rain and strong winds, forcing most schools and offices to close, and suspending the North-South high-speed train line.
