Nghe An Newspaper: Collaborator Conference and 2012 Release

(Baonghean.vn) -This morning (January 4), Nghe An Newspaper organized a conference for outstanding collaborators and publishing activities in 2012. Attending the conference were comrade To Hong Hai - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, and a large number of collaborators.

In 2012, with the attention and direct guidance of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Provincial People's Committee, Nghe An Newspaper successfully completed its political tasks, publishing 308 daily issues, 52 weekly issues, 3 special issues closely following the events and political tasks of the province, promoting typical new factors, strengthening the fighting spirit, fighting against negative manifestations, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the province. Also in the past year, for the first time, the number of newspapers issued exceeded 14,000 copies/day, an increase of nearly 3,000 copies/day. The online newspaper attracted traffic from an average of 35,000 visits/day in 2011 to more than 60,000 visits/day, the highest ever.

Contributing to the above results is the active role of the team of collaborators inside and outside the province; from the elderly collaborators to the young collaborators and the regular collaboration of many reporters from the provincial Radio and Television Station, the district-level Radio and Television Station, and a number of leaders and experts from provincial departments, branches and sectors. During the year, Nghe An Newspaper received more than 12,000 news, articles, photos and prose works from more than 400 collaborators, of which the rate of news, articles and photos of collaborators published accounted for nearly 70% of the news, articles and photos participating in the collaboration. In 2012, the Editorial Board of Nghe An Newspaper also rewarded 50 collaborators with quality news and articles published in Nghe An Newspaper publications.

It is the cooperation of the collaborators that has contributed to increasing the fighting spirit, the mass spirit and the diverse style of expressing press works on Nghe An Newspaper. This is also a very important initial source of information for the Newspaper to have the conditions to approach, investigate more deeply and thoroughly, clarify issues of public concern, as well as fight against negativity and harassment, and improve social life. He also happily announced that from January 1, 2013, Nghe An Daily Newspaper will publish 8 pages and issue Sundays, increasing by 2 pages and covering the entire daily newspaper 7 days a week. Therefore, he hopes to continue to receive more active cooperation from collaborators, with increasingly better news articles, closer to life.
