(Baonghean) - In the hotline column on March 31, some postmen in Do Luong, Dien Chau, Nghi Loc districts reported that from March 21, 2012 they will not receive commission percentage for delivering public newspapers (Nghe An newspaper, Nhan Dan newspaper, Quan Doi Nhan Dan newspaper), and at the same time want to know if the above press agencies will cut commission for Nghe An Provincial Post Office?

First of all, the Editorial Board of Nghe An Newspaper welcomes the postmen of the above districts for promptly informing the Editorial Board of the incident. Regarding the postmen's question, Nghe An Newspaper would like to answer as follows: Up to now, Nghe An Newspaper has not had a policy of reducing the percentage of newspaper delivery commission to the Provincial Post Office. Accordingly, both Nhan Dan and Quan Doi Nhan Dan Newspapers have not reduced the percentage of delivery commission. Not only that, since October 1, 2011, Nghe An Newspaper has increased the selling price from 1,000 VND/paper to 2,000 VND/paper (daily newspaper) and 1,500 VND/paper to 3,000 VND/paper (weekend newspaper), which also means doubling the percentage of commission for the Provincial Post Office.

To continue to effectively implement Directive 11 of the Politburo and Directive 03 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Editorial Board of the Newspaper has had many solutions to increase the circulation of party newspapers (Nghe An Newspaper, Nhan Dan Newspaper, Quan Doi Nhan Dan Newspaper) to each party cell, including the fast and timely delivery of newspapers to readers by postmen. The Editorial Board of Nghe An Newspaper would like to sincerely thank the postmen and the Postal Service that have, are and will serve well in delivering party newspapers to addresses, ensuring time and safety, and affirms that the reduction of the percentage of delivery commission is unilaterally decided by the Provincial Post Office.

In order to successfully complete the Party's political tasks and the readers' needs for updating local political news, the Editorial Board of Nghe An Newspaper hopes that postmen as well as staff of the entire Postal sector will send more information related to the distribution of Nghe An Newspaper and advise on new and creative ways to ensure that Party newspaper publications reach readers in a timely manner.
