Attending the ceremony were many central and local leaders, representatives of Hanoi Moi, Ha Tinh, Thanh Hoa, Bac Giang, Quang Ninh newspapers, representative newspapers based in Nghe An and many generations of cadres and reporters of Nghe An Newspaper through the periods.

The predecessors were the newspapers Bon-she-vich, Nghe An Do, Xich Sinh, Nguoi lao kho... over the past 47 years, generations of reporters of Nghe An newspaper have gone through many different stages and have made great strides in all aspects from organization, staff, means, working equipment to publishing publications.

In recent years, through summarizing lessons learned on key economic development, attracting industrial investment; achievements in hunger eradication and poverty reduction, infrastructure construction, craft village development, exploiting the province's strengths..., it has made an important contribution to the implementation of the Resolutions of the 10th National Party Congress and the 16th Provincial Party Congress; the political quality, information quality and cultural quality of the newspaper have been improved, the number of publications has increased to more than 120,000 copies/issue.
On this occasion, Nghe An Newspaper cut the ribbon to inaugurate the new office building at No. 3, Lenin Avenue.
