Nghe An Newspaper presents gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers
On the occasion of the 53rd anniversary of Nghe An Newspaper's establishment, on the morning of November 4, Comrade Pham Thi Hong Toan - Provincial Party Committee member, Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Tong at the Home for Martyrs' Relatives in Dien Chau District; visited and presented gifts to former Editor-in-Chiefs of Nghe An Newspaper.

Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Tong has been taken care of by Nghe An Newspaper since 1996. Every year on holidays and Tet, the Newspaper's leaders visit and give gifts. Nghe An Newspaper periodically assigns staff and reporters to take turns visiting and taking care of her when she is sick. Now she is 96 years old but still healthy and clear-minded. Comrade Pham Thi Hong Toan informed her about the 53rd anniversary activities as well as the development of Nghe An Newspaper in recent times. She is very excited about the growth of her children and of Nghe An Newspaper.

Next, comrade Pham Thi Hong Toan visited and presented gifts to comrade Phan Thi Thuy Lien - former Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper in Cua Nam Ward - Vinh City. After retirement, comrade Phan Thi Thuy Lien was elected as the Party cell secretary of the block continuously until now, so she continues to follow each page of Nghe An Newspaper and closely comments on each article.
