Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Information and Communications Dang Anh Tuan signed Decision No. 109 dated August 27, 2015 on administrative sanctions against Nguoi Dua Tin newspaper.

Firstly, the false information causing serious impacts in the article "China has gone too far in the East Sea tension" published on July 24, 2015. Specifically, in the illustration image of this article, the map of Vietnam was used incorrectly. This act violates the provisions of Point a, Clause 3, Article 8 of Decree No. 159/2013 of the Government on administrative sanctions in the field of press and publishing. This act is subject to a fine of 15 million VND.
Second, not complying with the regulations in the press license. This act violates the provisions in Point a, Clause 1, Article 5, Decree No. 159/2013. This act is subject to a fine of 8 million VND.
Third, posting some articles with superstitious content. This behavior violates the provisions of Point d, Clause 3, Article 8, Decree 159/2013, and is subject to a fine of 15 million VND.
