The daily LeFigaro devoted its front page and the following six pages to reflecting on “the horror of radical Islam.”
This is the first time in France that a barbaric terrorist attack has occurred in the form of beheading in Isère near Lyon, France's second largest city.
It is worth mentioning that the terrorist named Yassin Salhi brutally attacked the person who hired him in the context of France being troubled by unemployment.
After killing his boss, he also intended to blow up the gas plant located in the industrial area of Isère. Fortunately, he did not carry out this plot, otherwise the consequences could have been even more terrible.
The terrorist attack in France occurred on the same day as two other attacks around the world with much greater consequences, one in Tunisia and one in Kuwait.
LeFigaro newspaper said that this was a test for President Francois Hollande, Prime Minister Manuel Valls, Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve and a failure of French security and intelligence agencies because Yassin Salhi had been profiled by French intelligence agencies and placed in the "S category" with ties to the Salafist Islamist sect since 2006.
Meanwhile, the newspaper Libération, LeParisien, placed three images representing the three terrorist attacks on June 26 on top of each other on the front page and said that these were "disgusting" terrorist attacks carried out by extremist Muslims.
Both of these French newspapers devoted eight pages of June 27 to Black Friday and the horror of terrorism, stating that these were huge challenges to the security of France in particular and the world in general.
According to Libération, the French government "is on a war footing."
The websites of major newspapers such as Les Echos, Le Point, Le Monde… all devoted their front pages to updating the situation about the horrific terrorist attack in France and placing it in connection with the terrorist attacks in Tunisia and Kuwait.
French press said that there is a wave of terrorism by Islamic jihadists in the world and the terrorists do not exclude any place./.
