Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper gives 70 million VND to people in difficult circumstances

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 29, Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper organized a scholarship award ceremony for poor students in difficult circumstances in Phuc Tho commune, Nghi Loc district.

During this period, 90 students from poor households and households in difficult circumstances received gifts worth 50 million VND from Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Anh - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper. Of which, 10 students in especially difficult circumstances received gifts worth 1 million VND.

Leaders of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper and Phuc Tho commune give Tet gifts to poor students.

On this occasion, the Newspaper also presented Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuan in Binh Minh hamlet, Phuc Tho commune with 20 million VND.

Previously, in April 2016, also in Phuc Tho commune, Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper donated 60 million VND to support the locality in building 9 solidarity houses in the area.
