The 2020-2025 term is a difficult and challenging term for Party committees and authorities at all levels. In the first half of the term, the Covid pandemic has seriously affected the quality of the population and caused a recession in the global economy. The strong development of digital media has created great pressure on traditional and mainstream press forms. Revenues are increasingly decreasing, press economic activities are shrinking, press agencies face many difficulties in reinvesting and improving the lives of VCLĐ staff. In the second half of the term, the revolution of streamlining the organizational apparatus and reorganizing press agencies has posed requirements for cutting staff and narrowing the broadcasting channels. Faced with numerous challenges, the Nghe An Newspaper Party Committee and Nghe An Radio and Television Station have closely followed the goals and tasks of the term, proactively adapted, flexibly directed and innovated journalism methods, creating achievements and development marks in all four types of traditional journalism and digital platforms, making Nghe An Newspaper and Nghe An Radio and Television Station become strong brands in the system of Party newspapers and local Radio and Television Stations nationwide.

Closely following the orientation and action plan to implement the Resolution of the Party Congress of Nghe An Newspaper, Nghe An Radio and Television Station and the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels, the Party Committee Standing Committee, the Editorial Board, and the leaders of the Newspaper and the Station have been determined and flexible in directing innovation, development, and improving the quality of news and program content on printed newspapers, electronic newspapers, two radio and television channels, and digital platforms. Together with the Editorial Board, the News Council, the Editorial Council has promoted the role of convergence, orientation, and resource sharing in organizing the production of daily news and programs in a more timely and effective manner. Events, activities, holidays or major issues in the province, in the country, even in the world all have editorials, comments, special articles, documentaries, reports and large-scale live programs... creating a new look for Nghe An Newspaper and the two traditional and official channels, NTV and NOV.

Not only does the content closely follow the breath of life, spreading the good cultural values ​​of the land and people of Nghe An, but the news, programs and publications of Nghe An Newspaper and Nghe An Radio and Television Station have become closer to modern journalism.

In line with the flow and development of the homeland, over the past 5 years, as the two main and official media agencies of the province, Nghe An Newspaper and Nghe An Radio and Television Station have closely followed their political orientation and tasks, closely followed and accompanied political events, major holidays, economic, cultural, social, security and defense activities as well as issues arising from the practical direction and administration of Party committees and authorities, creating profound propaganda streaks, leaving their mark on all 4 types of official press and digital platforms. That is the propaganda streak about the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term; Election of the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term; the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory; the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South; the 10th anniversary of Vi and Giam folk songs being recognized as intangible cultural heritage of humanity; The 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday; is an activity to celebrate the Party, celebrate Spring, Tet for the poor, the annual entrance and graduation exams, is a special propaganda streak on Covid-19 epidemic prevention, economic recovery after the pandemic, floods and natural disasters. With a strong, dynamic, professional workforce, synchronous technical infrastructure and equipment, Nghe An Newspaper and Nghe An Radio and Television Station have demonstrated their position, potential and brand through large-scale live programs. Over the past 5 years, under the strong direction of the Party Committee and Editorial Board, NTV has conducted hundreds of large live broadcasts. Not only innovating and improving the quality of traditional press forms such as print, radio and television to suit and keep up with the development trend of modern journalism, while developing in line with the goal of becoming a multi-form, multimedia media agency, in the past term, the Party Committee, Board of Directors, Editorial Board of Nghe An Newspaper and Nghe An Radio and Television Station have made breakthroughs in digital transformation and content development on digital platforms. Along with the website Truyenhinhnghean.vn, a series of digital platforms and channels were established and rapidly developed by NTV such as: Facebook; YouTube, zalo, tiktok, App NTVgo... In 2023, the YouTube channel Nghe An TV was awarded the Golden Creator award when it reached 1 million subscribers and after nearly 2 years the number of followers has reached nearly 2.5 million and is the fastest growing channel among Vietnam's mainstream political news channels on digital platforms. In addition to specialized programs and news for digital channels, Nghe An Newspaper and Nghe An Radio and Television Station have also promoted the application of AI in the production and publishing of publications and programs. With the motto: "Where there are readers, there is Nghe An Newspaper", Nghe An electronic Newspaper is constantly updated with new and modern features such as automatic speaking newspaper, Podcast, Emagazine...; integrating the system of publishing printed newspapers on electronic newspapers. Nghe An Newspaper has also built 3 specialized data journalism pages, including: "President Ho Chi Minh with his homeland Nghe An"; "Nghe Tinh Soviet 1930-1931" and "Party Congresses at all levels for the term 2025-2030". Currently, every day, over 3 million viewers watch NTV's programs on digital platforms. In 2023, 2024, Nghe An Newspaper and Nghe An Radio and Television Station were assessed by the Ministry of Information and Communications as excellent in their maturity in digital transformation.

The radio and television waves and printed and electronic newspapers of Nghe An not only spread throughout the province but also reached out, promoting the potential, advantages, image of Nghe An people, domestic and international situations to people inside and outside the province. NTV has expanded, cooperated, produced, and exchanged news, reports, special programs, arts and entertainment... with VTV, VOV, News Agency and radio and television channels nationwide. Many major programs such as television bridges, documentaries, reports... have been effectively coordinated. Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television have also organized many working sessions, exchanging experiences with national stations, Party newspapers, provincial and local radio and television channels, and departments, while promoting cooperation with experts nationwide to produce many quality programs and articles such as: World affairs roundtable, weekend economic magazine, thousands of family stories on radio and television, weekend chat, podcast, essays, editorials, comments on printed newspapers, electronic newspapers and radio and television... Along with that, Nghe An Newspaper and Nghe An Radio and Television Station also expand their scope of operations to other provinces when there are major events and issues, contributing to widely promoting the image and brand of Nghe An journalism.

Implementing the project "Developing Nghe An Radio and Television Station towards digital transformation, period 2020-2025", in the past term, along with the inauguration and putting into use of NTV's 4th studio - Lam Giang Studio - a modern, multi-functional studio, combining real and virtual technology, HD standard S1 studio control room; Nghe An Radio and Television Station has also built and upgraded Tecco studio, Virtual studio and Minh Hong studio - where daily news bulletins are produced. In addition, NTV has coordinated with VTV to install a 2.4KW DVB - T2 digital terrestrial transmitter in Vinh City; Expanding the coverage of digital terrestrial television in the entire Central and Southern regions on VTC's digital infrastructure; Applying multi-technology combination solutions; Building a digital database; applying direct working technologies, online interviews; livestreaming daily programs...; investing in many new machinery and equipment, technology to serve the production, broadcasting and publishing of printed and electronic newspapers. NTV also promotes the service of providing, developing and maintaining television applications on the Internet platform (NTVgo) and NTV channel transmission service in HD standard on digital infrastructure; Resolutely applying AI in production, using Big data services, cloud storage...

The new Nghe An electronic newspaper has invested in construction and modern design, updated with many more outstanding, comprehensive and in-depth features, and will be put into use from May 28, 2024. This is a step forward in integrating data and digital technology into the publishing sector, aiming to provide greater value and benefits to the public.

The Party Committee of Nghe An Newspaper and Nghe An Radio and Television Station always pay attention to fully and promptly disseminating the Party's Resolutions, policies and laws of the State, especially regulations on press activities to all Party members, officials and employees. During the past term, the ideological situation of cadres, Party members and the masses in the Party Committee and the agency was stable, internal solidarity was good, and assigned political tasks were completed with quality. Every year, 100% of cadres and Party members registered to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; The implementation of the responsibility of setting an example for cadres and Party members was seriously implemented, with preliminary and final summaries for each stage. The work of inspection, evaluation, review and overcoming of shortcomings and limitations was timely and followed the instructions.

The Party Committee of Nghe An Newspaper and Nghe An Radio and Television Station have paid attention to and directed the administrative reform and implementation of grassroots democracy regulations. During the term, Nghe An Radio and Television Station continued to arrange specialized departments and offices to meet the standards and regulations of the Government; developed a project for job positions, carried out planning and appointment of cadres, Party committees, and management in accordance with regulations. The Party Committee of Nghe An Newspaper directed the strict implementation of the Publishing Code of Conduct, clearly defining the rights and responsibilities for each job position. In 2022, along with promoting the application of technology in directing, operating, managing VCLĐ, and digitizing the processing of administrative procedures, NTV has built and operated software for marking and managing news articles, increasing transparency and efficiency in royalty payments.

The annual management and operation regulations and internal spending regulations are widely consulted and revised among VCLĐ staff, ensuring practicality and objectivity. Rewards and discipline are carried out publicly and transparently.

Along with promoting propaganda, Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television have also coordinated to organize many social security programs and activities such as: "Tet for the poor", "Nghia dong Lam"; the campaign to build new houses, repair houses for poor households, households with housing difficulties; support people affected by natural disasters, storms and floods, support for going to school, cultural, artistic and sports programs to call for support. The Party Committee of the Newspaper and Radio has also strongly directed the trade union and youth union to fulfill the social responsibility of journalists through directly carrying out humanitarian and charitable activities. During the term, tens of billions of VND were raised, and at the same time, salaries of employees were deducted to build 18 gratitude houses, receive help for Cam Muon commune - Que Phong district and Xieng My commune - Tuong Duong district; support 6 Vietnamese heroic mothers, give Tet gifts to poor households, households in difficult circumstances; Give school supplies to schools and students for the new school year.

In the past term, Nghe An Radio and Television Station and Nghe An Newspaper have always maintained their brand by continuously winning high prizes at major press festivals and awards. Over the past 5 years, Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television have had more than 600 works by authors and groups of authors winning national, provincial and industry press awards. Of which, more than 120 works won major prizes at the National Radio and Television Festivals and press awards at the Ministry and Central sectors. Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television have won 4 B prizes, 6 C prizes, 3 consolation prizes of the National Press Awards; A prize for the Documentary "Heritage from the Heart" - Award for composing and promoting literary, artistic and press works on the theme "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" in the second phase of 2021 - 2025; 1 excellent prize, 3 consolation prizes of the National Golden Hammer and Sickle Award; 1 B national journalism prize for preventing and combating negativity and corruption; 3 B prizes, 2 Encouragement prizes of Dien Hong Prize; 2 B prizes of journalism prize for protecting the Party's ideological foundation; Special prize at the first national journalism prize for writing about Buddhism, with the series of programs "Sacred Buddha realm"...
