Welcoming Getafe at the Nou Camp, coach Luis Enrique's team quickly asserted their strength with a 6-0 victory like a white tennis set. The players in red and blue stripes only needed 47 minutes to score all the goals, including two braces from Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez. Neymar and captain Xavi each scored one goal.

The special thing about Barca's victory was that each goal brought satisfaction to the audience. Messi started the "rain" with an artistic panenka penalty before ending with a left-footed curling shot that left the audience amazed and admiring. Xavi and Suarez also had curling shots that forced the opposing goalkeeper to pick the ball out of the net, while Neymar continued to show off his ability to deceive opponents.

In addition to being pleasing to the eye, the victory over Getafe also helped Barca increase the pressure on second-placed Real by creating a five-point gap. Coach Carlo Ancelotti's team will kick off 24 hours later when they host Almeria at the Bernabeu.

Getafe are not an easy opponent for Barca to "bully". Barca captain Xavi also showed his finishing skills when he scored a goal to celebrate his 501st match in the Liga. The midfielder curled a shot from 18 meters and goalkeeper Guaita was helpless despite knowing the direction of the ball.

Suarez and Xavi's two curling shots were both beautiful, but still less difficult than Messi's winning goal. With three defenders in front of him and little space to gain momentum, M10 was still able to put the ball into the top corner, leaving goalkeeper Guaita to watch helplessly.

After the "shower" of great goals, Barca proactively reduced the pressure on the attack to save energy. However, with their class in handling situations, the three strikers on the attack line still created dangerous attacks. Neymar and Suarez both almost scored more goals in the second half.

Getafe also created some bright attacks but could not overcome the defense and goalkeeper Bravo. In the end, the visitors had to accept leaving without an honorary goal and the heaviest defeat since the beginning of the season.
