Arrested 2 subjects specializing in counterfeiting identity cards

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 2, 2015, Vinh City Police announced that they had initiated a case, prosecuted the accused, and temporarily detained Nguyen Thi Bang (born in 1977), residing in Hung Phuc Ward, Vinh City, and Dao Thanh Xuan, residing in Can Loc District, Ha Tinh, for the crime of "Forging seals and documents of agencies and organizations".

Previously, at Le Hong Phong Street, Vinh City, near the one-stop shop of the Provincial Police, the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order inspected and discovered Nguyen Thi Bang handing over a fake ID card to a person she had previously claimed to be. The Department of Administrative Management of Social Order arrested the subject and coordinated with Vinh City Police to establish a case file.

Through searching Nguyen Thi Bang's residence, the authorities discovered and temporarily seized a number of related documents. During the investigation, Bang confessed that he had frequently contacted Dao Xuan Thanh by phone to hire him to make fake ID cards if requested by customers. After completing the work, he sent a passenger car from Can Loc to Vinh City for Bang. It is known that the two subjects had made fake ID cards for many cases at a price of 2 - 2.2 million VND. The police force arrested and urgently searched Dao Xuan Thanh, thereby discovering and temporarily seizing a computer and USB that the subject used to make fake documents.

At the police station, the two subjects confessed to all their crimes. The case is currently being further investigated to recover the fake documents that the subjects made and handle related subjects according to the provisions of the law./.
