Arrested 2 Laotian subjects transporting 20 heroin cakes, 12kg of drugs into Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - When Chung Va (Lao nationality) was transporting 20 heroin cakes and 12 kg of crystal meth from Laos to Vietnam, he was arrested by the police. Va's accomplices were also arrested shortly after.
At 8:00 p.m. on January 16, 2020, on Ho Chi Minh Road, through Thanh Thuy Commune, Thanh Chuong District, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department presided over and coordinated with Thanh Chuong District Police and Thanh Thuy Border Guard Station to successfully crack down on a major drug case.
This is a drug trafficking ring that illegally transports and sells large quantities of drugs from Laos to Vietnam, led by Laotians armed with firearms.

Previously, through the monitoring process, the Special Task Force determined that the subjects were preparing to transport drugs from Laos to Nghe An. They would conduct drug transactions on Ho Chi Minh Road, in Thanh Chuong district.
At 8:00 p.m. on January 16, 2020, at Km 332, Ho Chi Minh Road, a subject appeared transporting drugs, the Task Force proceeded to arrest red-handed. The subject was identified as Chung Va (born in 1996, residing in Kham Cot district, Bolikhamxay province, Laos). The police seized the entire amount of drugs that Chung Va was carrying, including 20 heroin cakes and 12 kg of crystal meth.

Expanding the investigation, the Task Force arrested Thao Ho Vu (born in 1994, residing in Lac Xao district, Bolikhamxay province, Laos).
The case is currently under investigation and expansion.
