The Ministry of Public Security's working group agreed with Nghe An province on solutions to overcome the consequences of storm No. 5 at the Kim Lien National Special Historical Relic Site.

On the morning of August 28, a delegation from the Ministry of Public Security worked with Nghe An province on overcoming the consequences of storm No. 5 at the Kim Lien National Special Historical Relic Site.

Comrades: Major General Nguyen Hong Nguyen - Deputy Chief of Office of the Ministry of Public Security; Phung Thanh Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting.

Attending the meeting were: Colonel Dinh Viet Dung - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, representatives of departments, branches and leaders of functional departments of the Provincial Police; Standing member of the Kim Lien Commune Party Committee, Board of Directors of the Kim Lien National Special Historical Relic Site.

The representative of the leader of the Kim Lien National Special Historical Relic Site said that when storm No. 5 made landfall, the Relic Site had 10 items damaged such as: The Folk Song Performance House was crushed by trees and completely damaged; the fence along the Soviet Road was collapsed; the tree system on the sightseeing routes and nearly 1,000 large trees in the maternal and paternal hometowns, the Tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan were broken and fell, including an ancient banyan tree in Lang Sen that was uprooted by the storm; the visual propaganda system was completely damaged...

At the meeting, delegates discussed and pointed out difficulties and limitations, thereby proposing solutions to promptly overcome the consequences caused by storm No. 5 at the Kim Lien National Special Historical Relic Site.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Phung Thanh Vinh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee sincerely thanked the attention, encouragement and timely direction of the leaders of the Party, State, Government and the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also affirmed that Nghe An province will promote solidarity, proactiveness and creativity, and mobilize maximum resources to overcome the consequences at the Kim Lien National Special Historical Relic Site.

Major General Nguyen Hong Nguyen - Deputy Chief of Office of the Ministry of Public Security deeply sympathized with the damage and loss that the people of Nghe An province in general and the Kim Lien National Special Historical Relic Site in particular had to suffer from storm No. 5. He highly appreciated the efforts, sense of responsibility, and drastic participation of the entire political system of Nghe An province in responding to and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.

At the meeting, the Ministry of Public Security and Nghe An province agreed to mobilize the entire political system, in which the Public Security plays a core role, to coordinate with other forces to immediately start rebuilding, repairing, restoring, preserving, and consolidating the Kim Lien National Special Historical Relic Site system, determined to restore the works and trees to their original state to serve the people and tourists visiting during the upcoming National Day holiday.
