Arrested 2 subjects for illegally storing and transporting firecrackers

(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of December 15, 2012, a patrol team of the Mobile Police Department of Nghe An Police was patrolling at the Quan Banh intersection in Nghi Kim commune, Vinh city and discovered a case of illegal transportation of firecrackers.

Conducting an administrative inspection on a taxi with license plate 37A - 06534 running from Quan Hanh to Vinh City, the patrol force discovered 2 subjects carrying 10 packages of foreign-made explosives and immediately brought them to headquarters for clarification.

Subjects Dau Anh Thin and Vo Van Hoang with evidence at the investigation agency

Here, the two subjects confessed that Vo Van Hoang, (born in 1991) and Dau Anh Thin, (born in 1989), both from Dien Hong commune, Dien Chau, were transporting 2 kg of firecrackers from Dien Chau to Vinh city for sale. It is known that Vo Van Hoang bought the above firecrackers abroad. Dau Anh Thin had a previous conviction in 2007 for theft of property.

Authorities are continuing to investigate.
