Arrested 2 subjects, seized 6 heroin cakes
(Baonghean.vn) - The Border Guard and the Quy Hop District Police have just discovered and arrested two subjects for drug trafficking, seizing 6 heroin cakes.
At 12:30 p.m. on March 20, implementing project 353L, the Nam Can International Border Gate Border Guard Station coordinated with the Drug and Crime Prevention Department (Provincial Border Guard) to arrest a subject and confiscate 5 heroin cakes.

The arrested subject is Sung Seo Trang, born on August 26, 1986, originally from Lau Thi Ngai, Bac Ha (Lao Cai). Currently residing in Dien Quan, Bao Yen (Lao Cai). He was on his way to transport drugs from the border to the inland for consumption, when he arrived at block 3, Muong Xen town, Ky Son district, he was arrested.
Evidence collected at the scene included 5 heroin cakes, 1 mobile phone and some related documents. Currently, the Border Guard Station at Nam Can International Border Gate is completing the documents to hand over to the authorities for handling.

On the afternoon of March 20, Lieutenant Colonel Dinh Anh Dung - Head of Quy Hop District Police said that the unit had just coordinated with Department PC47 and PA71 (Provincial Police) to successfully break up Project 1906L, arresting a subject from Ha Tinh who went to Nghe An to trade drugs.
At that time, upon receiving information from the people, all three forces including PC47, PA71 and Quy Hop District Police Department conducted an ambush and followed this drug trafficker.

At around 3:30 p.m. on March 19, the subject was caught red-handed while transporting drugs to Nghia Xuan commune (Quy Hop district). The police seized a brick of heroin from the subject.
At the investigation agency, the suspect confessed his name was Nguyen Van Lap (born in 1993), residing in Son Tay commune, Huong Son, Ha Tinh. The police are currently continuing to expand the investigation into this case.
