Arrested 2 women colluding to illegally buy and sell drugs

(Baonghean.vn) - Chung was the one who directly connected and searched for drug consumption points in Vinh city, then contacted unemployed people, women with small children, especially many bankrupt people to lure them into becoming drug transporters.

At around 10:00 p.m. on March 30, 2021, at the Viet Nga Hotel area, Tan Hoa block, Ha Huy Tap ward, Vinh city, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Team (Vinh City Police) coordinated with Nghi Kim Commune Police to investigate a drug trafficking case, arresting 2 subjects, Tran Thi Thuong (born in 1996), residing in Ward 4, Dong Ha City, Quang Tri province and Nguyen Thi Chung (born in 1988), residing in Khe Sanh town, Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri province for illegal drug trafficking, seizing 2kg of crystal meth.

During the investigation, Vinh City Police clarified that Nguyen Thi Chung was the person who directly connected and searched for drug consumption points in Vinh City, then contacted other subjects to make transactions.

For each "shipment", Chung selected unemployed people, women with small children, especially many subjects.defaultto lure her into becoming a drug transporter. Through his connections, Chung knew that Tran Thi Thuong was currently separated from her husband and her business was failing, so he lured Thuong into an illegal drug trafficking ring.

On the afternoon of March 30, 2021, according to Chung's plan, Thuong went to Lao Bao Border Gate, Quang Tri Province to get drugs, then brought them to Vinh City to trade. In order to avoid the attention and detection of the police, when going to get the "goods", Thuong brought her 2-year-old child with her, hiding the drugs in her child's bag.

At 10 p.m. the same day, while Thuong was checking in at the Viet Nga Hotel, he was caught red-handed by Vinh City Police, who seized 2kg of crystal meth.

Continuing to expand the investigation, in the area in front of Vinh University, the police force issued an emergency detention order for Nguyen Thi Chung while she was sitting drinking water waiting for Thuong to return after successfully consuming the above drugs.

If this illegal drug trafficking deal is successful, Thuong will be paid 10 million VND.

Currently, the case is being further investigated and expanded by Vinh City Police.
