(Baonghean.vn) -On May 4th, the Criminal Investigation Agency of Quynh Luu District Police arrested 5 individuals for threatening to kill someone, to be processed according to the law.

Previously, on the evening of April 29, 2013, suspecting Bui Tuan Anh (born in 1993, residing in Quynh Phuong commune, Quynh Luu district) of stealing money from Nguyen Van Trung (born in 1988, residing in the same commune), Trung and four friends went to find Bui Tuan Anh and took him to the border area between Quynh Phuong and Quynh Lien communes (Quynh Luu district) to interrogate and force Tuan Anh to confess to stealing 7 million VND from Trung, threatening to kill him if he refused.

The perpetrators stripped Tuan Anh of his clothes, tied his hands and feet, buried him in a hole, and covered him with sand, leaving only his neck, head, and hands exposed. Unable to force Tuan Anh to confess, they released him and let him go home.
