Arrested 6 fugitives in Southern and Central Highlands provinces

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 3, the Criminal Investigation Department (PC52 - Provincial Police) successfully transferred 5 wanted subjects in the Southern and Central Highlands provinces to Nghe An for processing.

The arrested subjects include: Le Xuan Thuy (born in 1960, residing in Dien Cat, Dien Chau), wanted for the crime of Intentionally violating State regulations causing serious consequences since 2005. Thuy has been wanted since 2006 until now and was arrested while hiding with his wife and children in Hung Hoa A ward, Binh Tan district, Ho Chi Minh City.

Tran Dang Quyen (born in 1981, residing in Hien Son commune, Do Luong) has been wanted for the crime of Fraudulent appropriation of property since 2014. The subject was arrested while hiding in Ngo May ward, Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh.

Pham Xuan Lam (born in 1984, residing in Cong Thanh commune, Yen Thanh) has been wanted for theft of property since 2014. He was arrested while hiding in Dak Nong province.

Thai Huy Phu (born in 1991, residing in Hung Dao, Hung Nguyen) is wanted for the crime of Abuse of trust to appropriate property, has been on the run since 2010 until now, and was arrested while hiding in Dong Nai province.

Nguyen Van Lap (born in 1978, residing in Do Thanh commune, Yen Thanh), wanted for theft of property, has been on the run since 1997, was arrested while hiding in Binh Gia, Chau Duc, Ba Ria Vung Tau province.

Particularly, Nguyen Gia Dung (born in 1992, residing in Quynh Luong commune, Quynh Luu) was wanted for the crime of Abuse of trust to appropriate property from March 2016 until now, and was arrested while hiding in Ho Chi Minh City. After arresting Dung, PC52 handed over the subject to Ho Chi Minh City police.

After successfully escorting the subjects to Nghe An, PC52 handed over the subjects to the authorities for handling according to the provisions of law.

Previously, implementing Plan 813 dated December 12, 2016 of the Provincial Police on launching a peak period of attacking and suppressing crime, ensuring security and order before, during and after Tet, PC52 verified the addresses of a number of wanted subjects in the Southern and Central Highlands provinces to arrest them.

The working group of PC52 Department of Provincial Police set out for the Southern and Central Highlands provinces. After nearly 10 days, the task force successfully arrested 6 fugitives.
