Arresting thieves and robbers
(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of October 23, Thanh Chuong District Police arrested Truong Cong Sang (born in 1976, residing in Xuan Hien hamlet, Thanh Xuan, Thanh Chuong) for robbery.
On the afternoon of October 22, 2012, Thanh Chuong District Police received a complaint from Mr. Duong Van Hoi (born in 1971, residing in Hamlet 2, Thanh Thuy Commune, Thanh Chuong) about the afternoon of October 19, 2012, Mr. Hoi and some friends went to Thanh Xuan Commune, Thanh Chuong to buy buffalo. When they arrived at Xuan Hien Hamlet, Thanh Xuan, Truong Cong Sang chased and beat them with a hammer, causing injuries and demanding Mr. Hoi give him 1 million VND.
- At about 5:00 p.m. on October 23, Thanh Chuong District Police coordinated with Thanh Thuy Commune Police and Thanh Thuy Border Guard Station to arrest Lo Van Quynh (born in 1972, residing in Thach Ngan Commune, Con Cuong) for extorting property from Bui Thi Hien (born in 1972), taking 12 million VND in cash.
- At 8:30 a.m. on October 23, Quan Bau Ward Police received a report that a subject had broken into the house of Mr. Tran Dinh Dao (born in 1962, in block 8, Quan Bau Ward, Vinh City) and stolen a safe containing 30 million VND. At 11:00 a.m. the same day, the Ward Police had investigated and arrested Nguyen Duc Hai (born in 1989, residing in hamlet 7, Hung Trung, Hung Nguyen); Nguyen Van Huong (born in 1993, residing in hamlet 3, Nghi Hoa, Nghi Loc) and Nguyen Van Hoan (born in 1993, residing in hamlet 2, Nghi Hoa) for theft of property. They seized a safe, cash that the subject had spent, some vehicle documents and a motorbike used as the means of committing the crime.
-On October 23, taking advantage of the homeowner's absence, a thief cut the window and broke into the house of Mr. Vi Van Que (born in 1966, residing in Block 8, Long Son Ward, Thai Hoa Town) and stole 50 million VND in cash in a handbag, 3 taels of gold, 2 gold rings, and 3 gold bracelets. The total damage was about 90 million VND. The case is currently being investigated by Thai Hoa Town Police.
