Quynh Luu currently has 7 regional markets and 29 communal markets. In Quynh Luong commune, Mo market was built in 2007. Over time, Mo market has become too tight for the commune's trading needs. To meet the needs of the people and at the same time contribute to completing the criteria for new rural construction, the commune government has mobilized the people's strength along with the support of the budget. Mo market has been invested over 5 billion VND to rebuild, showing that it will be effective.

However, currently in Quynh Luu, there are many markets that have been invested in building billions of dong but have not attracted people to attend meetings such as Hoang Mai Town Market, Quynh Lam Market, Quynh Van Market, Quynh Lien Market... Meanwhile, the model of building private markets is also appearing in Quynh Luu. Besides the positive aspects, the spontaneous formation of private markets without any planning has caused many complicated problems in rural areas, typically the formation of private markets in Mai Hung commune. Although in Mai Hung commune, the planning and construction of Tan Thanh 3rd class market with Tan Thanh Service and Trade Cooperative as the investor with a capital of nearly 2.4 billion dong has been approved, but only 300 meters away from this market, a new private market has been formed at the foot of Hoang Mai bridge of Mr. Dau Viet Tam's family in hamlet 10, creating an unhealthy competition. It is worth mentioning that the establishment of this private market is not included in any planning, there is no market construction permit, and there are many violations of traffic safety corridors on both waterways and roads. Because the market is built partly in a home garden. Although the incident has been going on for a long time, the local government has not yet taken decisive measures to handle it.

One of the targets set by the Quynh Luu District Party Committee resolution is that the rate of workers with jobs in the non-agricultural sector will reach 43-47% by 2015. Thus, planning for effective market development in the district is a concrete step to successfully implement this target, contributing to the development of the trade system and completing the criteria for building new rural areas in the coming time. Mr. Nguyen Huu Tuy - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quynh Luu District said: It must be said that recently, Quynh Luu has also built a trade center and upgraded the market network, but in reality there are still many problems. We are conducting a survey to set up a reasonable market, mobilizing people's strength to promote the advantages of the locality.

It can be seen that the current market system in Quynh Luu has many unreasonable issues in both scale and location. In order to quickly develop the rural market network and promote the people's trade and service activities effectively and in accordance with reality, in addition to having to consult the people before building the market, it requires a more drastic participation of local authorities at all levels.
