Arrest of subject plotting to overthrow the government
Vo Viet Dzien went abroad to be trained in activities to sabotage the April 30 holiday and overthrow the government. When he returned home, he was arrested.
On April 19, the Ministry of Public Security's Security Investigation Agency issued a decision to prosecute and temporarily detain Vo Viet Dzien (41 years old, residing in Kien Giang) to investigate the act of "Activities aimed at overthrowing the people's government".

According to the investigation agency, Dzien, also known as Vang, works in aquaculture. Dzien went online to meet and establish a relationship with Nhat Thang - a member of the organization "Vietnam Restoration". In November 2011, Dzien went to Singapore to meet people in this organization. During nearly a week there, Dzien was introduced to the organization "Vietnam Restoration" and "National Salvation Force".
In January 2012, Dzien went to Singapore and was given 1,500 USD by the "Vietnam Restoration" organization to buy a computer for communication purposes. In addition, Nhat Thang also asked Dzien to buy land to build a farm for the "National Salvation Force" organization with the amount of 50,000 USD. Also on this occasion, Nhat Thang sent Dzien 400 USD and asked to find more people for the organization to send to Thailand for training.
In March, Dzien and his wife and children went to Moc Bai border gate (Tay Ninh province) through Cambodia and then to Thailand to meet a group of people from the organization "Vietnam Renaissance". Here, Dzien was instructed on how to use computer security software and jamming devices to return to Vietnam to jam waves at the frequency of 103 HZ, with the aim of spreading propaganda against the occasion of April 30, which this organization calls "Black April".
Dziễn was also assigned to find Chinese neighborhoods to burn down, causing division in national unity; and to distribute leaflets on April 30 and May 1. However, upon arriving at the border gate on his assignment, he was arrested by the police.
When arrested, Dzien wrote a confession, knowing his wrongdoings and asking for clemency from the State.
