Arrest of wanted suspect for murder

(Baonghean) -The Criminal Investigation Department of Nghe An Province Police has just arrested a wanted suspect for murder and property destruction.

Ho Cong Linh (born in 1994, from Dien Chau district, Nghe An, residing at 133 Ly Tu Trong, Ward 3, Vung Tau city) is wanted by the Investigation Police Agency of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province for murder and property destruction.

Around March 2011, Linh and his accomplices (about 40-50 people) used knives, swords, and sticks to beat one person to death, then smashed his motorbike and hid in several places such as Hanoi and Hai Phong.

On December 26, 2011, upon receiving information that Ho Cong Linh appeared in Dien Trung commune, Dien Chau district, the working group of the Criminal Investigation Department of Nghe An Police set up an ambush. At 7:30 a.m. on December 27, 2011, when Linh was taking a bus to escape to Hai Phong, he was surrounded and arrested by the police force.

Currently, Nghe An Police are consolidating the subject's file and handing it over to the competent authority for legal action.
