Arrested human trafficker, rescued 2 victims

(Baonghean.vn) - At 5:15 p.m. on August 3, at km 418, National Highway 1A, Dien Hong commune (Dien Chau district), the Drug Crime Prevention Department of Nghe An Provincial Border Guard, Muong Tip Border Guard Station in coordination with Dien Chau Traffic Police Station 1.5 successfully dismantled Project 345L, arrested 1 subject for human trafficking, and promptly rescued 2 victims.

Subject Quang Thi Mun

The arrested subject is Quang Thi Mun, born in 1985, registered permanent residence in Hoa Son village, Ta Ca commune, Ky Son district (Nghe An). When arrested, Mun was transporting two victims, Luong Thi Ngoc, born in 1999 and Luong Thi Dan, born in 1986, both residing in Pung village, Muong Ai commune, Ky Son district, on bus 14B - 014.47, Vinh - Quang Ninh route, to sell abroad.

Through initial questioning, Mun confessed that he took the two victims from Vinh to Quang Ninh for another person to sell to China, and was arrested on the way to the above location. Currently, Nghe An Border Guard is completing the documents to hand over to the authorities for handling./.
