(Baonghean.vn) - On December 10, the Mobile Police Force of Nghe An Province Police arrested a subject for illegally storing weapons in Vinh City.

The subject is Tran Trung Nghia (born in 1991), residing in Block 2, Ben Thuy Ward, Vinh City. The seized evidence includes 1 duckbill grenade, 1 utility knife and 1 homemade gun. When the authorities requested to hand over the above weapons, Nghia did not comply but took the grenade and gun and ran away. When arriving at the area of ​​the Invalids Bridge in Vinh Tan Ward, Nghia jumped into the river, hid under a boat of the people, forcing the Mobile Police force to use a loudspeaker to persuade him, but Nghia still refused to comply. At about 1:45 a.m. on December 10, 2012, the Mobile Police force had to use force to control and take the grenade right from the subject's hand.

Currently, the authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
