Arrested 10 cases, 16 subjects of drug crimes

During the month of action against drugs, with the close attention and direction of departments, branches, organizations and People's Committees of communes and towns, the atmosphere was created to attack and suppress crimes and drug abuse.

Quy Hop Police force has established and solved 2 special projects, arrested 10 cases, 16 drug criminals (reaching 167% of the number of cases, 200% of the number of special projects according to the target assigned by the Provincial Police); seized 40.3 grams of heroin, 11.4 grams of crystal meth, 2.4 kg of explosives, 21 detonators, 03 homemade guns, more than 21 million VND in cash and some related evidence.

Regarding drug addiction treatment, the team organized the compilation of records, tried and executed the decision to send 17 drug addicts to the Nghe An Province Social Labor and Education Center; coordinated and directed the police forces of Chau Quang, Chau Cuong, Chau Ly, Tho Hop, Yen Hop, and Tam Hop communes to organize community-based drug addiction treatment for 21 cases./.
